​Urbana Adult Education Center
The Urbana Adult Education Center provides educational and career services to residents of Champaign County and surrounding communities in East Central Illinois. Service includes lifelong learning opportunities for persons 16 years of age and over, serving approximately 1,000 students each year. Their programs consist of the following: GED, High School Diploma, FINDING YOUR WAY: A GUIDE TO RE-ENTRY 21 English Language Acquisition, Certified Nursing Assistant, Continuing Education and Career Development. They help their students to become more competitive in the workforce, which allows them to transition into meaningful employment with a living wage.

​Odyssey Project
The Odyssey Project is a free, 32-week, college-credit-granting humanities program for income-eligible adults, 18 years and older, with limited-to-no access to higher education. Courses are free and offered at Urbana Adult Education Center. ​Parkland Adult Reentry Center
Parkland Adult Education offers free services and instruction to adults who need to improve their basic literacy skills, do not have their high school diploma, do not speak English as their first language, or need assistance with career preparation. Parkland’s Adult Reentry Center is perfect for busy adults who need a convenient way to finish their college degrees.
